A look at how local initiatives are developing in Connecticut cities to improve the quality of life of their inhabitants. Highlighted topics include community policing in Bridgeport, employee ownership of Reflexite in New Britain, work programs in Waterbury, neighborhood development programs along Broad Street in New Britain and adjacent to Trinity College in Hartford, and new high school programs in New Haven and East Hartford.
