Bando de Teatro Olodum puts Bahian pepper in the Shakespeare classic, giving touches of black culture to the fun story of encounters and mismatches between humans and fairies who venture into the woods on the eve of a nobility wedding. Directed by Marcio Meirelles, responsible for the shameless way on stage, the play features the text translated by Bárbara Heliodora and musical direction by Jarbas Bittencourt, who sought the festive identity of Bahia's summer identity in popular rhythms. After the short season in Salvador, Sonho do Bando leaves for Germany in November, through the Copa da Cultura program, promoted by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture.
